PES 2015 Master League Improvements/Wishlist

Welcome back to the blog! You should have noticed the layout has changed, I spent about half an hour tweaking it a bit and it looks good in my opinion.

Anyway onto the actual point of this post. PES 2015 Master League Improvements/Wishlist. I'm a massive PES enthusiast and I've played and enjoyed nearly every PES game. Master League is a key feature for me.

This Master League however, doesn't feel right. Its missing many key features and 'gimmicks' that made PES 13 almost perfect to me. In this long post I'll tell you my opinions on what need to be fixed and added.

Training

Training was right in PES 13, now in PES 14 it's horribly wrong. In 13 you could go to a store and buy stat boosts, training enhancers and specific trainers. This made the mode less dynamic, and it gave you something to do outside matches.

In PES 2014 the training is practically non-existent. You can't train individual players traits or positions, you can't give them a +3 shot enchancer so you get that powershot. You can't train your aging AMF to help out in the CMF roles. It's wrong and boring. I finish the match, sort out my squad and then go into the next match.

There's no looking at my strongest players stats, to find what his weakness is. Because there's no point. You can't target the stats. You can only globally set stats of up to 6 or 7 in 6 categories. Don't get me wrong its more than what you get in FIFA but its not enough. For a mode that showed so much potential last year, this years is a massive let down.

Negotiations

Another major gripe I've found is the transfer window. Instead of one and a half months to get deals done, you get 6 'days' I found last years PES to be much slower, but it offered more time to get the players you want. Football clubs in real life don't get six certain days to do business do they?

For example, I'm trying to make a all English side with the defaults. I enter negotiations with two players on the first day.

I forward to the next day, sign the players. sell some players. Forward to the next day and I'm halfway through already. I managed to sign 5 players, selling two! Because of the transfer limit.

If you don't know you can only enter discussions with 4 players at a time. What about teams that bring in 7 or 8 players in at a time. You can't do that in PES.

So there's the main gripes with the master league. I might do another one if I feel like it. But
Thanks for Reading!

Blog Update

Hey guys, this is a quick update on my vlog.

I ended up winning the champions league on my PES 6 save, I'll have a look to see if I can find an image of the players. I signed Neymar as my marquee signing.

Anyway I'd like to apologize  for the lack of posts, I just didn't feel up too posting, and all the other generic excuses.

It won't happen again, I won't promise because it will but still :P

See you soon.

PES 6 Master League Part 3: Fantastic Match vs Everton, 4th League Title.

A fantastic two games for Chelsea, European football, here we come!
-------------------------------------------------------
Stoke City vs Chelsea

Chelsea dominated the first half, with Stoke City only getting one shot, not even on target. Meanwhile Chelsea had 5 shots, all of them on target, bar one. Eto'o went through one on one, but Begovic tipped the ball round the post.
From the following corner, Oscar whipped in a corner, and Eto'o nodded the ball in, despite moving away from the goal.

HT: Stoke City 0-1 Chelsea

Straight off the whistle Chelsea were on the front foot again! Lampard played a superb pass through, to Ba. His shot was saved but Torres converted the rebound. 2-0! Stoke tried attacking but the deadly duo of Cahill and Ake, proved to be too much for the Staffordshire side. Then in the dying moments, Chelsea attacked on the counter attack, Torres passing out wide to Ba, who cut inside, and tried to pass it back to Torres, but the ball ended up hitting of Charlie Adam's outstretched leg, and Begovic was left helpless!

FT: Stoke 0-3 Chelsea

------------------------------------------------------

Chelsea vs Everton

Chelsea came into this match, knowing 3 points would guarantee them the title from there rivals Tottenham.
It started off well for Chelsea, keeping the ball for 5 minutes straight! Chelsea just looked to find a gap, and 6 minutes in they did, Lampard found Ba, who shrugged off his marker, and placed the ball under Tim Howards leg. 10 minutes later, Chelsea led 2-0 after Ross Barkley gave the ball away to Eto'o, and the young prodigy was forced to pay for it.
Everton then gave Chelsea a scare, Terry missing a header, and Naismith went through, and tapped it past Cech. Everton had grabbed control of the match, and Fellaini then grabbed a equalizer, beating Terry in the air.
The defence had practically gave up as, Jelavic sprinted through one on one, and Cech bought him down. Red Card. The Croatian then coolly dispatched his penalty.
HT: Chelsea 2-3 Everton
The second half didn't start to great for Jose's men, Naismith grabbing his second of the match. With just under 15 minutes left, Jose bought Mario Gotze on for Hazard, and Gary Hooper for Samuel Eto'o, as a last ditch attempt. Boy did it work, Mario Gotze launching the ball up for Ba, who finessed the ball past Howard. 3-4. Two minutes later, Gotze smashed in a volley, Howard didn't even try to save it. Then in the 82nd minute, Demba Ba released Gary Hooper who had rounded the keeper! Chelsea lead at Stamford Bridge, 3 goals in 7 minutes. Just a minute more than Liverpool's record. Chelsea then held out, for 10 minutes, and when, the final whistle blew, the Chelsea fans erupted. Mourinho ran on the pitch, jumping round, like Paulo Di Canio. The noise in Stamford bridge was deafening, Chelsea fans singing there managers name. About 20 minutes after the final whistle, John Terry lifted his 4th League title. I can't wait for Europe next year!

Undefeated Streak Over, FA Cup Win

John Terry lifts Chelsea's 12th FA Cup!
A mixed two matches for Chelsea, as they fall victim to Wayne Rooney, but recover to beat Manchester City 1-0 at Konami Stadium.
-------------------------------------------------------

Chelsea vs Manchester United

Chelsea started off brightly with Oscar hitting just over, 5 minutes in. However Darren Fletcher gave Manchester United the lead with a quarter of an hour gone, slotting the ball under Petr Cech. Chelsea attacked and equalized immediately Torres just chipping De Gea, sending Stamford Bridge into raptures!
Torres and Lampard celebrate the equalizer.

Wayne Rooney then came close to giving United the lead, hitting the post, from a header.

HT: Chelsea 1-1 Manchester United

In the second half minutes in, United were on the front foot, Hernandez passing the ball across and Ivanovic knocking Rooney down. Rooney then dispatched of the penalty, sending Cech the wrong way!

Chelsea attacked but couldn't break down the defense. United win 2-1

FT: Chelsea 1-2 Manchester United

-------------------------------------------------------

Manchester City vs Chelsea (FA Cup Final)

Chelsea needed this win, knowing that hadn't won in 3 matches, and losing there undefeated streak. They needed a win and that's what they got!

Chelsea got off to a perfect start, Samuel Eto'o passing the ball across the edge of the box, for Torres to curl round Joe Hart. Chelsea lead 1-0.

Da da da da Fernando Torres da da da da
With just half an hour to go Lampard struck from 30 yards, smashing the crossbar!

HT: Manchester City 0-1 Chelsea

Straight off the bat in the second half Lampard went through 1 on 1, but failed to convert. This was followed by David Silva hitting just wide, with a free kick. In the final seconds, Gotze gave the ball away to Yaya Toure, who pumped the ball up, Sergio Aguero went one on one, his shot was saved by Cech, the ball fall straight to Edin Dzeko, who scored the rebound, and wheeled off celebrating.

Offside. The blue side of Manchester where silenced. Cech cleared the ball away. Chelsea won the FA Cup, for the 12 time!
